Capabilities
Rapid prototyping for metal and plastic parts
Working and non-working prototypes for design development, engineering and testing, built by the people who will make your production tooling.

What we do
Test real parts in days, not months.
Prototypes come off the same machines and the same floor as production tooling, so lessons carry straight into the mold.
- CNC prototypes in aluminum, steel and engineering plastics
- 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and Swiss turning
- Multiple 3D printing technologies for form and fit models
- Quick-turn aluminum molds for molded prototypes in the real resin
- Finishing to spec: Type II and III anodizing, Cerakote, chrome, blast, tumble, heat treat
- A direct path from prototype to low and high volume molding

FAQ
Common questions
Which prototyping method should I use?
CNC machining suits functional parts in production-grade metals and plastics. 3D printing is fastest for form and fit checks. Quick-turn aluminum molds are the right choice when you need molded parts in the real resin. Tell us what you are testing and we will recommend a route.
Can prototypes be made in the final material?
Yes. CNC machining and aluminum prototype molds let you test in the same metal or resin you plan to use in production.
What finishes are available?
Type II and III anodizing, Cerakote, chrome, bead blast, tumbling and heat treatment.
